Construction Safety Week Wrap Up

Featured Image

Construction safety week comes to an end for 2022 and we enjoyed doing what we could to help spread awareness of this critically important topic for the men and women who endure risk every day to perform their jobs.  We applaud the construction professionals who did an outstanding job bringing awareness to an entire industry.

As individuals working in other industries compared to being in the field working on a construction site, it can be easy to forget the risks that our loved ones endure to help build all the communities that we live in. It should never need to resort to losing a loved one or having someone you care about injured to remind us of the importance of being safe, in everything we do as people.  Drive with kindness, help people who you see might be going through a bad time in their life, remind the ones around you of the importance to remain safe all year long.

It's enlightening to learn about ways you can be safer and the heightened awareness helps with taking more caution on even the small tasks like the next time you're getting up on a ladder at home, or working on something around the house with your tools, even walking across the street.  If you want to keep learning, then you don't need to look far beyond hearing about safety from construction pros who take safety to an entirely different level - their lives depend on it.

When you see a contractor working, take a moment and remember that the person you see is somebody's Father, Mother, Son, Daughter, Brother, Sister, Grandfather, Grandmother, Husband, Wife, Friend, and Colleague.  These great people in our industry put it all on the line every day.
